A high-level delegation from Ethiopian Addis Ababa Leadership Academy(AALA), led by Director Dr. Tassew Gebre, visited BAI from May 20-25, marking their first official return since the two institutions renewed the Memorandum of Understanding in December 2023.

 
Executive Vice President Shen Jie and Vice President Li Yunchi hosted the Ethiopian guests for extensive talks, focusing on turning the renewed agreement into tangible collaboration across multiple areas. During the experience sharing meeting, Dr. Guo Guangmin, deputy director of Training Division, walked through the unique features of the training programs of BAI, while Zhang Guangyan from the IT Department shared latest practices in online education.

The delegation also visited Chaoyang Administration Institute and Tianjin Administration Institute to understand the roles of different levels of administration institutes and how they collaborate in thenationwidesystem. Moverover, field trips to Yanqi Lake International Convention Center, Haihe Dairy, and Tianjin Urban Planning Exhibition Hall offered hands-on experience.

This year marks the 55th anniversary of China-Ethiopia diplomatic relations. As both nations celebrate the traditional friendship, the visit not only reinvigorates ties between the two institutions but also reinforces the deep-rooted bond between the two countries.
