At
the invitation of the University of Macerata, the Li Madou Study
Center, and ENSA, a delegation led by Dr. Li Yunchi, Vice President
of BAI, visited Italy and Morocco from April 20 to 26. The
delegation, including Prof.Dong Binyu, Director of the Department of
Philosophy and Culture, Dr. Guo Guangmin, Deputy Director of the
Training Division, and Dr.Gao Chenying, Associate Professor of the
Department of Economics, achieved fruitful results in
inter-institutional cooperation talks and academic exchanges.
This year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union. The visit is of great significance for carrying forward the traditional friendship between China and Italy and consolidating China-EU relations. During their stay in Italy, the delegation held talks with the Li Madou Study Institute, the Ricci International Foundation, the University of Macerata, and the Mayor of Macerata.
During the stay in Morocco, BAI and the Higher National School of Administration of the Kingdom of Morocco(ENSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on capacity-building study programs. Also, BAI, together with ENSA and the Tianjin University, co-hosted an international academic forum on Chinese and Moroccan Experiences on Territorial Governance and Decentralization. Dr. Li Yunchi delivered an opening speech, and delegation members gave keynote speeches respectively.
This visit was fruitful by strengthening the exchanges and cooperation between BAI and its international partner institutions.
